The bathroom could provide that momentary room of freedom for us after a long day. It is also a fantastic place to relax and de-stress. The bathroom is just not another room, it is probably the safest room in the house.

1. Consider an Audacious Shower Curtain
While doing a bathroom makeover, just about every component can produce an opportunity to add style, including the shower curtains! Our first thought would be to go with a simple plain colored shower curtain but consider if your bathroom could benefit from a bold color or a nicely patterned shower curtain. Shower curtains always stand out and hence give you the relishing opportunity to express yourself.

2. Use Any Painting or Artwork
Who said you cannot put up paintings in your bathroom? You can always go for a canvas, which is water resistant and affordable. Choose an oversized artwork for maximum visual impact. Bathroom artwork should be safe from any damage from water and that’s why it is a great idea to laminate it. An excellent place to hang the artwork would be just opposite your bathroom mirror. This way, you can get a sneak peek of it whenever you are looking at yourself.

3. Go With Concrete or Marble Walls
Choosing marbles or concrete for your walls can seriously enhance the bathroom space. It is hard to go wrong with white and grey marbles for the sidewalls and maybe even for your sink and shower area as well. The marble look is just absolutely stunning and timeless. On the other hand, covering the same areas with concrete including the sink basin and countertops, and pairing it with metal elements around will certainly make your bathroom stand out.

4. Light colors
Sometimes you might care more about just making your small bathroom appear bigger. A smart way to do that is to go with the right light colors for your walls. Usually, picking light colors can work like magic for example you can try the Lime Mint or Pearl White shades. In addition, try throwing some different shades for the cabinets, which can complement the general theme.

5. Choose the Right Accents
This final touch is probably the most important aspect of your overall bathroom look. Try to use accents that either complement or provide a contrasting facet from the overall theme. The accents you need to think about could be the wastebasket, soap dish, or a functional ladder to place your towels and other items. Lastly, accessorize your bathroom space with some real or synthetic plants, because it can really freshen up the area.
